Violin Online String Sampler was developed by Dr. Robin Kay Deverich, a violinist and music educator. Dr. Deverich holds music degrees from the University of Southern California (Doctor of Musical Arts); University of California, Los Angeles (Master of Arts); and Brigham Young University (Bachelor of Arts); and has studied the violin with Eudice Shapiro, Alexander Treger, Oscar Chausow, and Marianne Fleece. For the past fifteen years, Dr. Deverich has specialized in distance learning, and is the founder of three music websites, all designed to provide users with easy access to fundamentals of violin, viola and cello playing:
